Hiya! This marker will list your parcel on the Caledon Directory, currently located at https://samm.nfshost.com/cdo .
Here's how it works.

SHORT VERSION: Rez the marker prim, place it where you like, and edit the notecard "CDO Directory Card" inside.

LONG VERSION:
1) Rez your marker on the parcel ya want listed.

2) Edit the notecard "CDO Directory Card" inside.  
  a) The first line should have the name of your parcel (however you want it to appear in the directory; it doesn't have to match the official name).  This is limited to about 60 characters.  Delete the default value NAME.
  b) The second line can have the name of the parcel's owner.  This can be your name, the name of an organization, or you can just leave it as a blank line.  (Note that your actual username IS logged by the server for security reasons, but not displayed in the directory.)
  c) The third and following lines contain a description of your parcel.  There is a limit of a few hundred characters.  Do delete the word "DESCRIPTION" that is there by default.

3) Once you save the notecard, your listing will be added to the directory automatically.

4) Leave the prim on your parcel, and it will ping the server every 24 hours telling us it is still there.  We will remove listings that haven't pinged the server in three days, to keep the directory up-to-date.

5) If you move your marker and want to update the TP point right away, click on the marker and choose Update.

6) Anyone can visit the directory website by clicking on the marker.
  
7) If you want to remove your listing, click on the marker and choose Delist from the menu, and then delete the marker (because otherwise it will update the server again in 24 hours).

HELP, I HAVE MULTIPLE LISTINGS AND I CAN'T DELIST THEM!

Listings that don't have a marker keeping them active will disappear after about 3 days.  If you want to fix things faster, you can choose "Delist ALL" from the marker, and confirm. This will remove ALL of the listings attached to your avatar, but the markers you still have rezzed will update the directory within 24 hours (or you can click them and choose "Update" if you want it to happen sooner.)


And that's it!  You can retexture or reshape the marker any way you like, but be aware that people who TP to your parcel via the directory will appear at the location of the marker the last time it talked to the server.
